Monday, April 7th: MEET THE CHAPTER 7:30 PM, Student Services Center MultiPurpose Room Come to our information night to find out what Alpha Kappa Psi has to offer you! Get to know the brothers of AKPsi and hear presentations regarding our fraternity’s history as well as the personal testimonials on behalf of distinguished alumni and current members. By meeting the brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi, you’ll have the opportunity to hear various personal experiences of our members as well as have your individual questions answered. Come see what Alpha Kappa Psi is truly about and the many opportunities that lay ahead! Food and refreshments will be provided.
Tuesday, April 8th: SOCIAL NIGHT 7:00 PM, International Center Get to know the chapter in a more social environment over an ice cream social! You’ll be able to get to know our members one on one in a more intimate and personal setting as well as enjoy a fun night with the brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi.
Wednesday, April 9th: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT NIGHT 7:00 PM, Center 212 Come to our Business Development Night to learn the necessary elements in making a strong impression on interviews in the business world. Hear presentations from our distinguished alumni on steps in writing a resume, cover letter, as well as other necessary factors in executing a successful interview. You’ll be given the opportunity to have your resume looked at personally by the members of Alpha Kappa Psi as well as receive advice on building your resume and cover letter. Don’t miss this positive and helpful event! (Bring copies of your resumes if you have one!)
Thursday, April 19th: CASE STUDY INTERVIEWS By appointment, Meet in PC Gallery A Recommended attire: Business professional Ever wonder how to tackle the ever-dreaded case study during interviews? Our Case Study Interview will allow you to practice your case study skills by enabling you to learn how to execute a successful case study interview. You’ll be working with groups to collaborate and collectively combine your ideas on case study examples and present them our members in groups. Attendance at this event is mandatory; please sign up for various times slots during rush week as well as for personal interviews.
Friday, April 11th: BROTHERS AT THE BEACH 5:00 PM at Peterson Loop for Rides 5:30 PM at La Jolla Shores Come to our last social event of rush week and enjoy a relaxing and fun time at the beach with the brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi! Get to know our members better in a casual setting over fun games and a beach BBQ. Don’t miss the last event of rush week to have fun with our members and enjoy the relaxing festivities we have planned!
Sunday, April 13th: PERSONAL INTERVIEWS By appointment, please sign up during rush week Recommended attire: Business professional Interviews are mandatory to receive a bid into Alpha Kappa Psi; please sign up for various times slots along with the case study interview.
We will be giving away a Microsoft ZUNE mp3 player at the end of rush week to a randomly selected rushee, so be sure to attend rush!
