BITS Business Conference - May 22, 2010

Don’t let the name fool you: BITS is anything but bite-sized. BITS (Business Ideas To Share) is a business conference that plans on making a big scene at the University of California, San Diego by creating opportunities for people interested in the different fields of business.

Hosted By Alpha Kappa Psi, the oldest and largest business organization at UCSD, BITS Conference is free for all UCSD students and will focus on various business industries, including finance, consulting, marketing, entrepreneurship, and accounting. The conference will feature professionals from these various industries in case studies, presentations, and panels to provide students with better knowledge for their business aspirations.

Congratulations Nu Xi Case Competition Team!

At the third annual Principled Business Leadership Institute held in Reno, the Nu Xi team won 1st place in the Case Study Competition.

Through the foundation’s Case Competition, students are introduced to the realities of decision making—including incomplete information, time constraints and conflicting goals--giving them first-hand experience in analyzing business situations. The competition is designed to stimulate students’ thinking by challenging their capabilities and preparing them for future managerial decision making. The video can be seen below:
